Following instructions for Fairtrade
This week we have been learning how to follow instructions in English. Today we made Fairtrade Rice Krispie cakes by following visual instructions and by sequencing a recipe. We used Fairtrade chocolate to make our Rice Krispie cakes.

World book day
The children in 1P made lots of effort to come into school dressed as book characters and they all looked fantastic. They enjoyed listening to a variety of different stories of their choosing throughout the day and taking part in book day activities.

Library visit

Communication
We are learning how to make choices using symbols and use the words yes and no to answer simple questions and identify our likes and dislikes. We have been engaging in action songs and have enjoyed choosing our favourite songs whilst learning how to take part and copy the actions.

A great first week back
We’ve had a fantastic first week back. It was lovely to see all of the children excited to be back at school and settle back into the school routine after a week at home over half term. Already achieving so much and making me forever proud.
