In DT this week we practised securing paper when we have rolled it. We turned out tubes into aliens which we have brought home to share.
Decorator of the term award
Today Jason from 4M won the Painter and decorator of the term award, he was presented with a paintbrush, t shirt and medal for his fantastic effort on his college link course this term. Well done Jason!!

Sixth form STEM
In today’s STEM we were set a fine motor challenge. We had to build a tower to see who could get ‘Pam’ the highest. We demonstrated resilience and resilience every time our tower fell, we simply started again!

Vehicle Inspection at Myerscough College Motorsport department. So far this morning the students have learned about checking all the exterior lights and wind screen wipers and washers.

Today in science we used the Bunsen Burners and learned how sparklers worked, dropping iron filings into the flame to create the sparkler effect.
