The start of our pots!
We have started to make our pots using clay. We had to use our fine motor skills to make a hole, then form it to centre of our pot. We now have to wait for it to go in the kiln before painting it next week!

3D shapes
We have explored what 3D shapes look like and if they roll, stack or both. We enjoyed having a rolling race in the corridor. The sphere won!

Assembly!
2M provided their own contribution for the Fairtrade assembly today. They videoed themselves trying different Fairtrade foods and spotting the logo!

Jewish artefacts
In RE, we matched name/symbol to the correct Jewish artefact. We also recalled learning that the Yad is used for reading the Torah and a Kippah is worn on your head!

Crumpets!
In English, we made our own breakfast of crumpets. We had to use instructions to say what we were about to do. ‘Spread the butter on the crumpet’, ‘Dip the knife in the bowl’ and ‘Eat it!’

It’s snowing!
We’ve all had a fantastic break and nachos playing out in the snow! Some of us tried to catch snow flakes with out hands and tongues!

Fairtrade foods!
We have been trying lots of different foods, seeing if they had the Fairtrade logo or not. Our favourite was the ice cream and chocolate, we decided that Fairtrade is delicious!

Making a jam sandwich
In English, we continued to learn about instructions, their layout and sequence. We followed instructions to make a jam sandwich.
1. We got two slices of bread.
2. We spread the butter.
3. We spread the tasty jam!
4. We put the bread on top of each other.
