Getting ready for the Fashion Show!
This morning we have enjoyed using the outdoor classroom in the hive to create our t-shirts ready to wear for the fashion show later this month. We used a variety of colours to link in with our fashion show song ‘koo koo kangaroo - awesome rainbows’.

Rainbow Spaghetti
We have absolutely loved exploring the rainbow spaghetti tuff tray this morning, using our senses to explore the colourful texture. We used the knifes and forks to cut and scoop up the spaghetti into the bowls and continued to mix and pour, making lots of different creations.

Fine motor fun
This morning we have been developing our fine motor skills by using our fingers to squeeze the pipettes. The pipettes were full of different coloured water which we squeezed onto white flour. This created a lovely, colourful, messy tray which some of us explored further with our hands, squeezing…

Making tracks
This morning a few of us have enjoyed making car tracks on the tinfoil with the paint. We responded to the vocabulary “car, paint, go” to make our own creations and enjoyed the crinkly sound the tinfoil made as we pushed the cars across it.

Playdough Fun
We’ve been working our finger muscles this morning by rolling, poking and squeezing the playdough. Some of us were able to use the playdough tools as well which helped us to create different patterns and shapes.
