Myerscough Group

The Myerscough group have been spraying the reptile enclosures and preparing food for the snakes and lizards. They worked really hard and even had time for a cuddle with the rats before lunch.

Forest Scavenger Hunt

During ECO & play this afternoon, we took advantage of the sunny autumnal weather & completed a scavenger hunt in our forest areas. The pupils had so much and worked really well together to find all of the items on their checklist.

Designing our Oracle garden

As part of our creative sessions we have been designing a ‘grow your own’ area on the Oracle site. Students have been researching the types of fruits and vegetables that can be grown in the UK. Students have then worked in groups to discuss and make a plan of what plants they would like to grow…

Recycling activity

In Eco & Play this afternoon, we completed a sorting activity. The pupils had to decide which bin the different items would go in. It created lots of discussion around whether something could be recycled or go in the compost bin.

Aistis completes his first job!

Aistis has put himself forward to support our Eco mission in school.  Helping to turn off the lights in the classroom to save energy and also took out a full paper bin to be recycled.  Keep up the good work Aistis!
