Sixth Form 2024-2025

Today Alice from health watch came into 6th form to talk to the students about transport, social groups and healthcare and how people with disabilities use the services and what is good or bad about the service.

In English 5GT are learning about speaking and listening , giving instructions and following instructions. The students took it in turn to give instructions to the whole class they  used paper cups which had to be stacked in different combinations for the tasks to be completed.

5M have been busy in the kitchen today. We have made bean and cheese wraps for the sixth form students break time snack. Well done 5M!

5M have been singing in their music lesson this week. Well done 5M!

KS5 have been playing Football on the MUGA during their fitness session this week. It was a very close game with just 1 goal deciding the match! 

We have been making beautiful bouquets at Sixth Form this week. Students picked different flowers to arrange into vases to make the place look and smell great!

Today, our KS5 students have had a brilliant day at Blackpool and the Fylde College! They learnt how to set up their make up station - making it look presentable and welcoming. They applied ‘scar wax’ and melted it onto the skin to blend it, making it look realistic. Using a colour wheel, they…

Today KS5 have been looking at white balance and how different shades and colours affect photographs. We went into the studio and acted out emotions, which we photographed and discussed.

Class 5M have been playing Money games in Maths this morning. We have used real coins to play and discussed the different sizes, shapes and colours of each coin.
