3B 2024-2025

Today in PHSE we have looked at Healthy Lifestyles ! We looked into what exercises we could do to be healthy and what food we should be eating. We then took part in a Joe Wicks  workout for the classroom ! 

3B’s Achiever of the week is Leland for his excellent effort in maths this week ! Well done Leland 

During our Geography lessons this term we have been looking into China. We have celebrated the ending of Chinese new year by making our own Chinese Lanterns ! It has been fantastic looking into China during this celebration ! 

3B loved their DT lesson this week as they got to make pancakes ! They all mixed the batter, poured it in the pan and then flipped it themselves ! They were delicious

This week in Arts Award we have looked into the Abstract Artist Piet Mondrian. We looked into his background, his lifestyle and all of his wonderful art. We then recreated some of his art in an abstract style! 

This week in Drama, 3B have looked into the story ‘The Three a little Bears’. We read the story then re-enacted it playing different characters. 

In science this week we have started to look into the parts of a plant. We have dissected the plants into each separate parts and identified the names of each area ! 

Everyone did excellent work in PE this week! 3B pushed themselves out of their comfort zones and tried lots of new activities ! 

3Bs Achiever of the week is Lacey for her excellent work in phonics this week ! Well Done Lacey ! 

This week in computing, 3B have been looking into programming. We used the Beebots to put in different programs to make it move and follow different patterns. It was good fun to see the paths everyone got each Beebot to make! 

This week in computing 3B created their own pictograms using the laptops! Everyone rated their favourite types of weather, animals, transport and insects !

In History we are looking into places with different historical importance around the world. Today’s location was Angkor Wat!
