3B 2024-2025

During our Arts Award topic, 3B have been looking into Abstract Art! Today we used watercolours to paint our own version of Abstract Art.

This week in PHSE, we have looked into Healthy eating. We all created a healthy meal which included carbohydrates, protein, vegetables and dairy.

Today during STEM 3B looked into how our hearts work. We used Stethoscopes to listen to each others heartbeats and Mrs Whitworth even brought in a real Lamb heart that everyone got to look at and hold ! 

Today in Humanities, we all had a go at building our version of the Great Wall of China ! Everyone used their STEM and teamwork skills to create lots of different structures, which were all very impressive. 

This morning 3B enjoyed some lovely Pancakes in celebration of Pancake Day! They were delicious

We have recently finished our class novel “The Day I Got Stuck In a Fairytale.’ Our new novel follows on from that story and is called ‘ The Night We Got Stuck In a Story’ 

3Bs Achiever of the week is Harley for an excellent first week at PCA! Well done Harley

Today we were gifted some lovely sunshine so we thought to make the most of it and spend some of our music lesson outside! It was great fun to see everyone having fun together playing games.

During our Myths, Folk Tales and Legends topic in English we have looked into the Greek Myth Pandora’s Box. We have been listening to the story and then writing sentences about it in our own words! 

Today in DT, 3B baked some delicious cupcakes! They all had the best time eating them.

As we carry on with our Fables, Myths and Legends topic in English, we looked into the story of Saint George and the Dragon. Everyone was able to sequence the story from the beginning, middle and end. 

The sun was shining so we enjoyed our PE lesson outside ! Everyone had fun using the scooters, boogie boards and the climbing frame!
