Last week, we explored and handled various Islamic artefacts. Today, we matched the artefacts to their name/symbol, understanding what each is used for. Well done everyone!

In computing, we have been tinkering with BeeBots understanding how we can control technology. We used the buttons to direct where we wanted the BeeBot to go.

Going to the class shop
In PSHE, we learnt about how we use our money. We all got a coin to spend in our class shop! We had to look after it and then understand the exchange that may take place.

Invasions!
We dressed like Roman soldiers, using a shield and sword, to reenact how they might have fought when they invaded in the past!

Pairs
We are looking at making pairs in maths, and we used our memory to play snap and pairs! We had to work together, using turn taking to make sure we all had a go.

Circuits!
In science, we are learning about circuits and how batteries can power light bulbs. We enjoyed exploring the different pieces of equipment and getting the bulb to light up!

Mosaic finger painting
We have been learning about how the Romans used little tiles to create mosaics and tell stories about their lives. We used finger painting to create a similar technique, dotting between the lines to create patterns.

Our levitation potion
We had a very special mission from Professor Dumbledore today. We had to use capacity and different cup measurements to make a potion, so the golden snitch would fly! It worked and we had fun watching it whizz around the classroom!

Looking after our school environment!
We went for a walk this afternoon, identifying our favourite areas in school. We identified how we can look after our environment and went litter picking to help!

Different families
In RE, we have started to look at how some families may believe in different religions. We explored artefacts from Islam, carefully handling a Quran and prayer mat.
