Morning hello

We love morning hello. We sing hello to all of our friends and put our pictures on the ‘who is here today’ board. Well done everybody.

This morning during our Literacy lesson we listened to the story of the gingerbread man. We then enjoyed exploring a ginger scented playdough tray, smelling the ginger scent and using the cutters to make our own gingerbread men.

10 Green Bottles

During our Maths lesson this morning we were looking at numbers 1-10. We enjoyed singing 10 green bottles standing on the wall and then playing the game where we recognised numbers, matched numbers, named numbers, and ordered numbers. Well done 1S, great number work.

What a masterpiece!

This morning we really enjoyed large scale painting with our feet! We used the three primary colours to mix together and make footprints on the paper. We giggled as the cold paint squelched between our toes.

Old McDonald had a farm

During our knowledge and understanding of the world lesson today, we have been learning about farm animals. We enjoyed singing old McDonald had a farm, matching farm animals on the matching board as well as exploring the animals in the mud tray and washing them clean with water and sponges. Well…

Choose time fun

This morning Mrs Goulding brought us some new toys to explore during our choose time in provision. We particularly enjoyed the jigsaws and fishing for shapes games.

Printing patterns

We used stamps to make a picture to contribute to the whole school art display in the main hall. It was great fun stamping and printing to make different marks in the paint.

Mark making

We have enjoyed mark making in the glittery sand tray this morning, using our fingers and paintbrushes to create different marks and patterns in the tray.
