What an amazing effort from our two super chefs, who showed independence, forward thinking & initiative during their cooking assessment.
They successfully made piri piri chicken kebabs & roasted red pepper & tomato soup.
Preparation for performances
4M have been looking at different genres of Music & what suits them best as a performer. They have had a choice over instruments or using their voice as well as learning key skills for working as part of a team.
Tag rugby
We’re exploring the rules of rugby in PE. The game was a close call, but team leader Robbie stole the it with a late tag & exceptional performance.
BTEC cooking
Well done to our super chefs Jensen & Louie for their amazing cooking skills. They independently made Thai Red curry with rice & it tasted amazing.
Art
We are making a Tim Burton inspired self portrait, starting with a water coloured background including a spooky border.
This piece of work will help make portfolios up for Entry Level qualification.

BTEC cooking practice
We’ve made 3 different recipes simultaneously today, tomato & red pepper soup, tomato pasta & chocolate chip cookies. A very busy but very successful cooking lesson.

It was Rory’s turn to show off his cooking skills this week. He made a spectacular Broccoli & Stilton soup which tasted amazing.

4M girls requested a hula hooping competition to be put on the board at the Oracle. Bethany currently holds the top spot at 3 minutes 26 seconds!
BTEC cooking
Today’s cooking masterpiece was Toad in the hole, as requested by Chloey. With the help of her class friends she was able to follow the recipe card & complete her meal almost independently. Well done.
