Arts award update
3W explored graffiti art by building a brick-wall background with sponge printing, studying how artists layer color and texture to make bold statements in public spaces.
Pupils mixed warm brick tones, then dabbed rectangular sponge stamps in staggered rows to leave clean mortar gaps and achieve a realistic wall effect.
With the wall panels complete, the class began adding simple tags and stencil-style lettering, preparing for individual name pieces that celebrate positive school values.
