What is a fable?

In our English lesson today we have been learning about what a fable is. After watching a video on what a fable is and what they are used for Sophie could explain that “ a fable is a short story that has a moral in it”. Louise then stated “ A moral is a rule we must follow”. We then identified that a fable is a fiction story that often uses cartoon animals and characters in. Then we went onto the next task which was a comprehension sheet based off the fable ‘ The tortoise and the Hare’. Fantastic work!
