Football Club

It was another great week for the boys at football club and another thrilling game between two competitive sides. It wasn’t in the script that the non-bibs would score 7 goals in the first 10 minutes, but thanks to Sharu’s Messi like dribbling and Ronaldo like shooting the bibs were down by 7 goals to 3. The bibs resilience was tested and they had to bounce back. With Jordan’s encouragement and leadership, he guided his team level (10-10) with minutes to play. There was a surge of attacking football from both sides to try and get the winning goal. Now you may be familiar with Fergie Time, but this was Mr Beckett time! 3 minutes extra to play, parents, grandparents and carers wondering where on earth the pupils were and with seconds to play, non other than Blackpool Community Trusts' Paul Mullin tapped home the winning goal for the bibs!

Non-Bibs 10 - 11 Bibs 

Player of the Match: Two players stood out from either side last week and earned themselves the player of the match award. Sharu for having great control when dribbling with the ball and Jordan for his morale-boosting performance. Well done boys!
