Marbling
We worked as a team in Art today to create oil marble prints. We produced some fantastic work to use in our portfolios.
English
We’re writing descriptive pieces of work for our English Entry Level qualifications. We are expanding our sentences & exploring different words that can be used.
Cooking
Monday mornings are a firm favourite in 4M. Today we have been cooking with potatoes. Potato wedges were made & seasoned to peoples liking, & loaded potato skins filled with cheese, tomato, onion or ham - yum!
Entry level Art
We’re preparing to make imprints for next stage of qualification. We carefully used cutting knives to cut out our own unique patterns.
Water safety
Brenda, a volunteer from the RNLI in Blackpool came to speak to 4M about water safety in the sea.
She spoke about the important work the lifeboat crew carry out & how we can be more after aware of the dangers of water.
Cooking
4M have been cooking up treats in the PCA kitchen. Today we made tomato soup & toasties, which was throughly enjoyed by all.
Music
In Music we have made tracks in previous lessons where we have composed music & saved them to musical software. Today we are transferring them to our Music teachers so they can be used towards our qualification.
Maths
We have been looking at place value in Maths lessons to help us gain insight to how numbers are built, to gain an understanding of the value of different digits, & to help break down complex numbers.

Marbling continues
We’re adding stencilled mandala patterns to our shaving foam art pictures to practice for our final outcome design.
Humanities
One of our old teachers, Mrs Docherty came to visit 4M during Humanities to tell us first hand knowledge of what it was like growing up in the 1960s.
Art
We are adding to our Art Entry Level portfolios with marble shaving foam pictures. We found 2 different ways of creating these pictures which left no waste.
