New year, new fitness goals
We visited the Oracle gym for a workout after making our fitness goals for 2025
BTEC cooking
4M students enjoying making sausage rolls with a twist as we also added leek & apple. It was a split decision when it came to tasting!
Gym
4M went on their first trip to the Oracle gym today. They explored the equipment & were inducted ready for their first session to take place next week.
Enterprise morning
Enterprise morning has arrived & 4M are ready sell as many wooden tree decorations as possible. If you couldn’t make it to school but would like to order decorations please let us know.
Japanese notan designs
In Art we have produced polystyrene monoprints using our Japanese notan designs as part of our print making project for Entry Level qualifications.
And the winner is…
After a tasting session the results were unanimous, well done to 4M’s roast potato making group.
BTEC cooking
Students were split into 4 groups with 4 different sets of instructions were given for ‘The battle of the potato’.
4M have cut, sliced, diced, grated, boiled & fried to make the most perfect potato rossi, hash browns, mash potatoes & roast potatoes.
Marbling
We worked as a team in Art today to create oil marble prints. We produced some fantastic work to use in our portfolios.
English
We’re writing descriptive pieces of work for our English Entry Level qualifications. We are expanding our sentences & exploring different words that can be used.
Cooking
Monday mornings are a firm favourite in 4M. Today we have been cooking with potatoes. Potato wedges were made & seasoned to peoples liking, & loaded potato skins filled with cheese, tomato, onion or ham - yum!
