Our Gruffalo Experience
We have had a fantastic morning exploring the Gruffalo sensory room. Log pile houses, tree top houses, underground houses, animals and a muddy tough tray. We have loved it. The animated Gruffalo story was also projected onto the wall.
Book enthusiasts
We have so many children in our class who absolutely love to read. The first thing Ashley does every morning is grab a book and sit and read. He also enjoys his trusted adults sitting and reading to him which is a lovely way to start the day.
World book day!

Our special visitors
What a morning! It was exciting going outside and meeting the firefighters, and being able to see a fire engine. We saw the flashing lights, and even got to try on a helmet, and some of the firefighters uniform.
We even got to have a turn using the hose pipe!
We built a house for grandma
We went into the forest this afternoon to build a house for grandma. We all worked together and I think we did a fantastic job.
Sensory time
Hela & Alicia enjoyed exploring the oobleck by marking making & feeling the mixture ooze between their fingers.
Fire engine visit
1P had so much fun this morning having a look around the fire engine that came to visit PCA!
The pupils tried on some fire hats and jackets and were even lucky enough to have a go spraying water from the fire hoses!
Special visitors
What a special morning we have had. We had a special visit from the firemen today. We listened to the loud siren, we tried on some of the uniform and we got to each have a turn of the hosepipe.
Happy Birthday Charlie
A big Happy Birthday to Charlie who has turned 6 today. He brought in some cakes to share with his friends and did such a good job at handing them out to each of them. He enjoyed having Happy Birthday sung to him.
Exploring flowers
This afternoon we have been exploring flowers and their parts. The children enjoyed handling the flowers and pulling them apart to identify the different parts of the flower. Fantastic work everyone.
