Georgia, Louise and Mrs Swift made up the "Sweet Sounding Horns" section of the Band and really made the tunes we played wonderfully textured, so that they both soothed and lifted the spirits! A nice bit of musicology there, Mrs Swift?

The Garden Centre, Poulton July 22nd 2023
The Band performed to help raise funds for the children's charity, "Sam's Place". Despite the rain, there was a huge turnout of people at the event and the Band were pleased to perform to such an appreciative audience. Well done to everyone involved!

Last Assembly of Summer Term 2023
This assembly took place outside on the senior playground. The whole school was there to participate - the sun shone, the certificates and prizes were given out and everyone went back to their classrooms with a smile on their faces. Have a lovely holiday, everyone!

Tor View School Music Festival July 14th 2023
PCA Band travelled by luxury coach to Tor View School in Haslingdon to take part in their annual Music Festival. Pupils from several other schools performed music and dance routines and we all had a fantastic time. We look forward to being invited again next year!

PCA Summer Production "It"s A Kind Of Magic" July 12th 2023
Pupils in Key Stages 3 and 4 performed in the production based on the musical 'Matilda'. The show was amazing and PCA Band were proud to perform alongside the many talented actors, actresses and singers in our school!

St Bernadette's School July 6th 2023
PCA Band performed for the pupils and staff at St Bernadette's School and they were so enthusiastic we played almost our whole repertoire of tunes to them - what a great bunch to play for! It was Robbie's first proper concert and he did really well so top marks to him.

BASSO at Bispham Rock Gardens July 4th 2023
BASSO performed in the evening to a huge audience at the Rock Gardens so well done to everyone connected to PCA who attends practices regularly, - Nathan, Jake, Kamron, Freddie, Georgia, Mirabelle, Mr Bradford, Mrs Swift, Mrs Birch and Mr Strachan. Top marks to you all!

Primary Sports Day July 4th 2023
PCA Band were out on the MUGA supporting the Primary Sports Day as we have for the past twenty years! All the younger pupils were involved in the races and put on a special show for their parents, friends and carers - as did the Band. What a lovely day for everyone involved!

Year 11 Leavers Assembly June 30th 2023
It was an emotional time at PCA this morning as we said 'Goodbye' to those pupils leaving the school. The Band, as always, was in attendance to perform for pupils, parents and staff at this sad time - this photograph shows us warming up for the assembly. Good luck, all you Leavers!

Friends of the Rock Gardens, Bispham June 17th 2023
The Friends of the Rock Gardens invited us to once again entertain their group and others who use their beautiful park. We performed for longer than usual because so many people were attracted to the park by our music. Well done to everyone concerned!

Ribby Hall Special Schools Concert May 19th 2023
PCA Band joined the pupils and staff from seven other local schools to perform for a sell-out audience which included the Chief Constable of Lancashire and England's chief legal prosecutor. Our performances were exceptional and nobody was arrested for playing a wrong note!

Marton Institute April 24th 2023
PCA Band performed superbly in front of a huge audience at the Marton Institute in a benefit concert for Brian House Hospice in Bispham. A special well done to Lottie Galgate who played in her first off-site concert - the first of many we hope!
