Introduction to a Dirt Bike Motorcycle.

Today at Myerscough College the students looked at a dirt bike motorcycle. They learned about how to start a bike, accelerate,  brake and change gear.

Halloween Karaoke Competition & Fancy Dress

At Monday's Halloween Youth Club the pupils had a karaoke competition and were awarded prizes for the best fancy dress.

Jake won the karaoke singing Ghostbusters and ine second place was Jasmine and Ellie singing a duet of Bloody Mary by Lady Gaga.

Keiron and Jordan were crowned champions of the bottle Racer Distance Challenge. Their combination of water volume and air pressure powered their vehicle the greatest distance.

Bottle Racer Distance Challenge

Pupils made compressed air powered racing cars at Motorsports today.

They changed variables such as jet angle, air pressure and volume of water in the bottles to achieve better distances travelled when their cars were released.

Painting and Decorating at Blackpool and The Fylde College

Pupils continued papering their walls with full and partial pieces of lining paper. The pupils also tackled an "envelope cut" to cut a space in the paper to accommodate an electrical socket.

Next week they will be designing patterns to paint onto their lined walls.
