Before dinner the group looked at different aspects of rat Husbandry. This included handling with positive reinforcement using meat paste, cleaning their cage, feeding and looking at enrichment. (Making their lives more interesting)

This morning in Animal Studies at Myerscough College, the pupils learnt about animal Husbandry.
Animal Husbandry is the process of looking after animal health and wellbeing. With the giant African land snails this involved bathing them in clean warm water and cleaning their shells.

Healthy Lifestyles at Myerscough College
Today's session started with a classroom lesson on Healthy Lifestyles.
Students were then taken to the college's Sports Conditioning Room part of the Myerscough Sale Sharks Academy to do cardiovascular and conditioning training.

Youth Club Blooket Competition
Youth Club competed in 3 iPad based Blooket Quizzes. The quizzes were on tv programs, Disney characters and video games, duo Jasmine and Ellie won two of the quizzes and Jake the remaining quiz.
Sports at Myerscough College
At the first Myerscough College sports session the pupils introduced themselves to Olly the tutor and had a cardiovascular gym induction. For the first week the pupils did some football skills training and finished with a match.
Vehicle Inspection Part Two
Students went on to check the under bonnet fluid and oil levels and raised the car up to check for fluid leaks, tyres, suspension and brakes.
