We are vets
Pupils in 1C have enjoyed our vets role play area today.
We have checked heart beats, applied plasters and made our animals feel better.
We have a special thank you to say to a every kind parent in 1C who donated the vet costumes.
Our 5 senses
We have been exploring our five senses of touch, smell, sight, hearing and taste.
Miss Cooper delivered the ‘This is Me’ sensory story which included the keys words eye, nose, mouth, ears, tongue and hands.

5J had a great time today making their own doughnuts from scratch.
After baking them in the air fryer they decorated them and devoured them!!

Making dreams come true
This morning Jorja told us she’d love to make s’mores….
So this afternoon Miss Jackson and Mrs Rowe made her dreams come true!
The whole class took part, constructed their own tasty creations and we cooked them in the air fryer.

5I out in the community finding textures
5I went out in to the local community today to find and explore textures. We used the cameras to capture our favourites.
Looking after Bob
Today in cubs we had a little visitor called Jeff aka Bob! The children learnt how to clean him how to feed and ask lots of lots of fantastic questions!
Our sensory fish
The children in 1B are absolutely loving our new sensory fish machine which changes colours, makes bubbles and the fish even swim around. It has supported our children in being calm and supporting with their sensory needs.
Bats and balls!
Today in 1B the children were playing bat and ball and learning how to hit and throw the balls to each other!
World book day!
It’s world book day! We have so much planned and lots to and we are all going to have so much fun! ❤️
5J join the library
5J have been on a mission to join the library.
They have all filled in their own forms, handed them to the librarian then explored the library to find a book.
Once they chose their books they checked them out before bringing them back to the Oracle to read during the week.

This week we have started to learn about long and short. The children have been identifying long and short objects. All of the children sat beautifully during circle time this morning.
