What’s the uniform?
In RE we are learning about different types of clothes and why they are specially. Today we learnt about uniforms and how different jobs have different outfits. We were lucky to try on a real police jacket, firefighting helmet and post office hi vis!

Reading outside
We enjoyed listening to Supertato, Veggies assemble in our reading slot. As part of our learning outside the classroom day, we liked sitting on the grass in the sun!

Baking in DT
In DT, we enjoyed making biscuits. We gathered all the ingredients before following the instructions and putting them into the oven. We hope you all enjoy them at home!

Printing with fruit
We continued looking at Guiseppe Arcimboldo’s art. Today we used fruit and paint to print directly onto outlines of faces.

Chickens
We then visited the chickens. We fed them corn and banana skins/apple cores from our packed lunch!

At the bottom of the hill we then met two newly born lambs. We were lucky to stroke them

Our walk to see Blackpool Tower
We walked up a big hill, looking at the sheep and lambs. At the top we could see Blackpool Tower!

Our eco planters
We used newspaper to make our own compostable planters. We filled them with soil before sprinkling lettuce seeds on top.

We then helped Farmer Dave to feed the goats and calves some hay!

Our next stop was the baby goats… which we learnt were called kids. We also got to have a go at holding them
