We’ve had a OUTSTANDING assembly this morning and are looking forward to our party afternoon, including a special visit from the ice cream van!

We enjoyed making play dough and then using it to learn about the different Chinese New Year animals!

We enjoyed using different items to create texture in art today! What else could you use at home?

To celebrate our Chinese New Year lunch, we made our very own Chinese lanterns! We worked hard to be independent. 

To continue learning about our environment in PSHE, we enjoyed going on a walk around PCA. We had to make sure we were being safe and even identify the names of different buildings and what happens in each one.

When exploring poems in English, we listened to the rhyme ‘Incy Wincy Spider’. We then enjoyed interacting with the sensory tray, acting out the rhyme and sequencing the parts. 

In maths, we played number splat. We had to listen carefully to the number being said and find it. We then enjoyed splatting it, getting shaving foam everywhere!

In RE, we explored people who help us in the community. We enjoyed matching the description and guess who it was!

We enjoyed learning about Kandinsky today. We explored his style of art, painting our own circles using warm and cool colours!

We enjoyed exploring the puppet theatre this afternoon, we thought about what each character might say!

We learnt about the north and South Pole, exploring a globe and putting the polar bear and penguin on the correct pole.

We enjoyed working together to take turns going down the slide! Well done everyone.
