Our finished aliens
Here are our finished aliens, 2M had so much fun making them and choosing their own colours for their bodies, and antennas, pupils even got to choose how many eyes they wanted their aliens to have. They all look fantastic!
How tall am I?
We all measured our heights in class and looked at who was the tallest or shortest. We will see how much we have grown in July!
What’s the height?
In Maths, we have started to learn about height and length. We walked around school finding tall and short objects! The daffodils were short but the tree was tall.
The book trailer
We enjoyed visiting the Sixth Forms book trailer and seeing the hard work they put into it!
The Rainbow Fish
We listened to The Rainbow Fish as part of our World Book Day. We then made our own Rainbow fish with a shimmering scale!
World Book Day
2M all look fantastic in their World book day costumes, from a beautiful butterfly, Spider-Man and Marvel superhero to being cosy in pyjamas. Great efforts everyone!
Collaging
In Art, we used collaging to create the background of our final art piece. We chose if we wanted to do a polar or desert scene, picking between hot and cold colours.
What a mess!
Miss Miller made a huge mess during our bucket time. We decided to help by hoovering up the flour!
Fire engine visit!
We had a special visit from the fire engine and fire fighters today. They showed us their equipment and let us squirt the water on their hose! Thank you so much!
Washing our hands
In PSHE, we learnt about the importance of washing our hands. We then went to practise our new skills!
Who and what doing
In English, we used colourful semantics to identify ‘who’ and ‘what doing’ in different cartoons. This helped us to learn about verbs!
