Cake sale - Thank you Jack
All of the children in 1A would like to say thank you to Jack and his family for donating money for all of his friends to enjoy a cake together this morning. It is very kind of you all and we enjoyed our cakes very much.
Weather - Sun
This afternoon we learnt all about the type of clothing and items we may need when the sun is shining. We created a backpack of all of these things which included, sun cream, a drink, an ice cream, sun glasses and a sun hat. Well done everyone.
Short and tall
This week we are focussing on the concept of ‘short’ and ‘not short’ in maths. The children have been building towers this morning as well as ordering the heights of different towers whilst using the key vocabulary. Well done everyone. ⭐️
Rangoli Hand Prints
We made some Rangoli Hand Prints before lunch! The children enjoyed exploring the colours and using the cotton buds to print onto the hand print. Well done.

Who is tall?
We are continuing to look at the key vocabulary ‘tall.’ This morning the children were choosing which character was ‘tall.’ It was fantastic to hear the children verbalising the key vocabulary ‘tall.’ Well done everyone.
1A LOVE sharing stories
1A LOVE sitting and listening to stories as a whole class and in smaller groups. The children often approach the class staff and gesture for stories to be shared. It is such a great relationship builder as well as building on children’s communication and social skills.
