This morning 3H had an exciting Phonics-filled morning exploring sounds and building words in lots of engaging, hands-on ways! Our independent learners got stuck into a focused tuff-tray activity, matching words to the correct sound. Pupils were also using magnetic letters to identify sounds and build simple words. We also put our keyboard skills to the test with a ‘Type the Word’ challenge, practicing both letter recognition and spelling. Pupils also became CVC word detectives and worked hard on their worksheets, whilst we also had a fun team-building game being played on the board!
