Today, we introduced our exciting new Humanities topic - Ecosystems- and used our own school as the perfect example! We discovered that teachers are like the producers (plants), providing knowledge and energy. Pupils are the consumers (animals), learning and growing everyday. Our amazing site staff, welfare team and everyone who keeps the school running are the decomposers/recyclers - making sure everything stays balanced. And the abiotic factors? That’s our school environment - classrooms, playgrounds and all the spaces that help our ecosystem to thrive.
We can’t wait to explore more about how ecosystems work in nature!
