On the final night of their York adventure, Park Community Academy’s Year 9 students enjoyed a lively game of bowling, filled with laughter and friendly competition. The trip had been packed with memorable visits: from exploring Clifford’s Tower and York Castle Museum, making their own chocolate bars at the York Chocolate Story exhibition, to admiring the stunning architecture of York Minster and wandering the charming Shambles. A special highlight was the visit to the Jorvik Viking Centre, where students traveled back in time to experience Viking-age York through immersive rides, sights, sounds, and authentic artefacts, bringing history vividly to life. It was a fantastic journey full of learning, fun, and friendship, before heading back to Blackpool the next morning with wonderful memories.
