Which material will keep grandma dry?

In Science this afternoon, the children were testing a range of materials to see which one would keep grandma dry. They enjoyed wrapping grandma up in material and then dunking her in the water. The children were very good at saying whether she was wet or dry and if that material would be good enough to make a house to keep her dry.
