This week our phonics has all been focussed around the ‘m’ sound. We have been singing, signing, identifying and mark making.

We have been working so so hard with our phonics sounds in 1B and the children have been practising their letter formation of different sounds this week. I am so proud with how hard they are all working. ⭐️

This week in phonics we have been looking at words with the suffix- "tion" and what those words mean. 

This week, we have been learning the ‘s’ sound. We have been saying the sound loudly, quietly and then identifying objects that start with our ‘s’ sound. I wonder what things you have in your house that begin with the sound ‘s’? ⭐️☀️

In phonics, we are learning to recognise the sound ‘m’ sound which we sound out as ‘mmmmmmmmm.’  The children had a go at mark making and some children were able to write the letter m. Well done everyone.
