In our animal care sessions this week we got todo a lot of handling of the animals.
This gets them used to humans and being handled, this means that when the animals need to be seen by the vets or moved to cleaned the enclosures, they are less likely to become distressed.

At Myerscough this week we got to do a lot of hands on care. We got to give Spyro the beared dragon a bath and scrub with toothbrushes as to help with his shedding.
We then got to hold Jane the hamster and the tarantula. Finally we got to visit the chickens.
