This week, we have been learning the ‘s’ sound. We have been saying the sound loudly, quietly and then identifying objects that start with our ‘s’ sound. I wonder what things you have in your house that begin with the sound ‘s’? ⭐️☀️

In Science, we are learning all about the human body. The children made their own faces after we pointed to each part of our body. 

We have been looking at ways to express our anger. These way keep us all safe but they also make us feel better and help us to get rid of the anger.  ⭐️

Following on with our story, the Colour Monster, today we have been looking at the red monster. The children ripped and scrunched the cellophane and stuck it on our monster. Ripping and scrunching are two techniques the children have learnt about, that they can use when they are feeling…

Yesterday was world mental health day. The children engaged in some cosmic yoga which told a story through yoga. The children really enjoyed it and followed all of the moves really well.

This afternoon, we have been to the MUGA to do PE. We have been crawling through the tunnel, rolling, jumping and spinning.well done 1B⭐️☺️

What a great day we’ve had in 1B today. We have been busy counting, engaging with lots of fine motor activities and practising name writing. ⭐️

Well done Charlie. You are our star and scarf wearer this week for getting it right even when some situations have been quite tricky. ⭐️

It’s Miss Brown’s birthday today and we have helped her to celebrate by having cake and blowing out candles. We sang happy birthday and enjoyed some dancing.

Charlie was ready and raring to go today. He wanted to start independent learning before he even took his coat off. Well done for independently matching your numerals to the correct amount of objects. ⭐️

We have been engaging in lots of fine motor activities today including ripping, gluing and sticking paper to a large box. Well done 1B ⭐️

We have lots of fun in the sensory room.
