Circuit training
We worked on our core strength during Public Services at B&FC. Our tutor had set a circuit for use to complete with 40 seconds of work & 20 seconds of rest.
SHINE Therapy
SHINE Therapy are working with 5I this term. Today they have made sensory bottles to help with dealing with their feelings & emotions.
Dog therapy training
Our therapy dog Molly has been taught some new skills today by our therapy training students. Molly has displayed she can listen to instructions & follow them out as commanded from different people.

Glasdon have kindly donated £5000 towards the refurbishments of the Oracle kitchen. This will help our Sixth Form students open an independently run cafe in preparation for adulthood.

Today we also gave Spyro the bearded dragon a bath ,then we weighed him and did his health checks.

Today at myerscough we have been handling the rats. We have been checking their weight and doing health checks this is done regularly to make sure they are healthy.
What makes a good leader?
Oracle students were asked the question ‘what makes a good leader?’ at B&FC during their Public Services session.
Here was their joint reply ‘communication, organisation the correct equipment set up, risk assessments followed, knowledgeable within the subject…
Cooking club
Cooking club made chocolate & banana muffins today. All students followed the written instructions & cleared up their work space after they had finished.
Superstar
All of the Oracle students & staff are proud of Mrs Temple. She ran & completed Blackpool marathon on Sunday… 26.2 miles!
Functional maths
All our maths lessons start with a reasoning starter as an introduction to the lesson. Blerina has worked super hard with working hers out.
