Math Darts
During our maths lessons today we focussed on subatising numbers alongside the darts championships starting. We used a small object to throw at each number, tally them and work out our total. We did a fantastic job!

River was following our PCA way this afternoon and treating others the way we want to be treated. River was very proud to present Callum with his Achiever of the Week Certificate. What a kind friend!
Achiever of the Week

Christmas Tree Festival
Lacey has been attending art club at lunch times with Mr Hull. Lacey along with two other pupils worked hard in creating our school entry into this year's Christmas Tree Festival at St Christopher and St Nicholas Church on Hawes Side Lane. This morning the pupils had a trip to see their Christmas…
Nativity
Well done to three of our pupils in 3H, Callum, James and Finlay who took part in the KS2 Nativity as part of the Choir - supporting our younger pupils with their singing. Well done boys!
Rythmn and Blues
As part of our music lessons we have been focusing on the genre jazz. Today we have used the glockenspiel to interpret the chosen music piece. We were exceptionally good at recognising the correct notes and following the phase of the beat. Well done 3H.
Rainbow Relaxation
This afternoon we took part in Rainbow Relaxation meditation. Using meditation can help use regulate our emotions, feel calmer and boost our attention and concentration.
Happy Birthday Finlay
A big happy birthday to Finlay who is tuning 12 tomorrow! Thank you for kindly bringing in cakes to share with your friends in 3H

Aladdin
3H had a fantastic morning on our school pants trip to watch ‘Alladin’, oh yes they did! Great fun was had by all!
English
Our new focus in English is adverts, to get us in the festive spirit today we watched ‘Kevin’s Mission’ Christmas advert and answered comprehension questions about the story using the ‘5 W’s’ who, what, where, why and when.
Dough Disco
We had a fun activity of dough disco this afternoon. Dough disco allows us to work on our fine motor skills and work on our hand muscles which can improve our grip and finger pressure. We really enjoyed moving to the music.
