Bispham Rock Gardens September 25th 2022

The Band were invited to perform by the Friends of the Rock Gardens and being a Sunday there were a lot of people about! We played really well with a special mention to Scott, Mrs Birch and Miss Pilkington as it was their first off-site performance with the Band. Top quality!

Summer Holiday Band Practice August 25th 2022 [3]

Mr Holt made a guest appearance at the practice today and he sat alongside Scott, Nathan, Mr Bradford and Aiden.  Mr Holt doesn't really need to practice because he's already a top player but it was lovely that he made the effort to come and help us to get better. Thank you, Mr Holt.

Kamron, Georgia, Mr Strachan, Roman and Jacob study their music whilst playing  which makes them play soooooooo well. Practice makes perfect and they are not far off being the best in Blackpool!

Here we see Adrian, Nathan, Jordan and Mr Bradford concentrate on their music and play beautifully.  With these four stars in the Band it's no wonder PCA Band is the most famous and "Successful" in the North of England!

Scott, Mirabelle and Nathan form a quartet of trumpet players with Mrs Swift resplendent in her flowery trousers. Just moments before the picture was taken she had done some musicology and they all played very quietly as per her instructions. Top stuff indeed!

Georgia and Jacob join Mr Strachan on the back row with the 'big machines'.  We all know that Georgia is already a top player and Jacob is quite possibly going to be PCA's best euphonium player ever - a top man!

PCA Assembly July 20th 2022

The final assembly of the year was held in glorious sunshine in the senior playground. It was the first time that the whole school had gathered together for quite a while because we couldn't all fit into the hall at the same time - it was so nice we should do it again more often!

Key Stage 2 Leavers Assembly July 19th 2022

PCA Band performed for the pupils, parents and carers and the assembly was a lovely celebration. Many Band members came to school in their own clothes rather than in their uniforms because it was the hottest day EVER in England - hence the knobbly knees on the front row!
