Shapes!
In maths, we are learning about shapes. We enjoyed counting how many sides and learning which 3D shapes will stack or roll.
Aboriginal dot art
We learnt about how Dreamtime stories contribute to aboriginal dot art, before using cotton wool buds to make our own.
Glitter time!
Last week we painted our Christmas trees. Today we used glue and glitter to add sparkly garlands to it!
Practicing on the microphone
We have been practising our lines and songs on the microphone in class, we have gotten used to what our voices will sound like in preparation for the Christmas show.
Shape sorting
In maths, we have started our new topic of maths. We enjoyed listening to shape songs, before using our knowledge to feed the shape monsters the correct shapes!
Star and SCARF

Christingle
In RE, we learnt about how light is important during advent. We then made our own Christingles!
Stone and Bronze Age food
In our Topic lesson, we learnt about some of the foods that were ate in the Bronze and Stone ages. We tried raspberries, grains, leafy greens and chickpeas.
Enterprise
We worked very hard today on our Enterprise. We filled the baubles up with pom-poms or shredding, before learning how to use the Cricut to make the name! We’re very proud of our final product.

How to wash a woolly mammoth
We have started our new book in English, How to wash a woolly mammoth.
We had our very own mammoth come to visit 2M. We had to help wash him, using imperative words to direct us what to do.
