Considering there has been so much change to our normal routine, the children have coped exceptionally well and we are so proud of them all. Well done everyone. ⭐️
Our Week in 1A
We have had a busy week in 1A. From Christmas Nativity’s to Christmas Card writing, making decorations to lots of fun outside building relationships. Well done everyone. It has certainly been a busy week.
Christmas Tree
Last week, we decorated our Christmas Tree which we are very proud of. Since Thursday it has been taken apart and redecorated plenty of times and it is lovely to see the children interacting with it so nicely. Well done everyone.
Star of the Week
Kai is our star this week this week. He received this for showing an avid interest in decorating our class for Christmas.
We’re going to the Panto,..
Wow everyone, Miss Brown was super impressed with how beautifully you all sat on the minibus on the way to the Panto. ☺️
Mini Movers
The faces of pure happiness. The children have thoroughly enjoyed our Mini Mover sessions and we are very sad that we only have one more session the week after next with the lovely ladies that run our sessions.
Christmas Decorations
We have made a start to making some decorations for our classroom. These activities are great for developing fine motor skills as well as hand and eye coordination. Our classroom is going to look very festive!

Phonics - ‘g’
This week, we have been focusing on the letter sound ‘g’. We have watched and listened to a range of songs which include the ‘g’ sound. The children have been identifying lots of objects and animals that begin with the ‘g’ sound. Look at our fantastic letter writing - we are getting so much better…

Music - Away in a Manger
In music, we have started to listen to the song that we will be singing in the Christmas Nativity, ‘Away in a Manger.’ We have listened to it a couple of times so hopefully we will begin to learn some of the lines real soon. Well done everyone for sitting and listening so well.
