Maths Fun!
Today we enjoyed our weekly carousel of Maths activities to help us embed our weekly learning. We enjoyed playing Sumdog on the iPads, playing a counting Lego game, using our knowledge of number bonds to solve the puzzles and enjoying a measurements challenge using cubes! Well done…
Tying our laces!
Today pupils have been taking important steps in building their independence by practicing how to tie their laces. We were very impressed by pupils resilience! Well done!!

In our history lesson we have been learning about Harriet Tubman and why she is an important figure in history. We drew some pictures of her and the people she helped and wrote some sentences about her.

Our achiever of the week this week is Alfie for being a kind friend and following the PCA way!
Kindness between friends
Alfie took the time to draw a picture of Tyler’s action figure. This is such a great example of our PCA way: treat others the way you want to be treated. Small acts of kindness makes a big difference.

Our achiever of the week is Lucas for putting 100% effort into all his work. Well done!
VE Day
Today is the 80th anniversary of VE Day so we made our own bunting and folded spitfire planes. We watched the televised announced from 1945 when it was announced that the war was over and we held a 2 minute silence in remembrance.
Animation station
In our computing lesson we made our own animation and added a voiceover, stickers and changed the colours.
Meters and cubes
We took our maths lesson outside and used meter sticks and cubes to measure different things around our yard.
