Living animals and habitats!
Today in 2G we learnt about living animals and different habitats. In the lesson we did an experiment on how a camel can walk in the desert because of their large feet!

Arts Award Presentation
This morning upper primary had a special assembly to celebrate and present the year 6’s art work. The years 6 pupils went on stage to tell their peers which is their favourite art piece and why. We think they were very brave, well done everyone.

Singing with a beat
During our music lesson we have been using our voices and the glockenspiel to follow a rhythm using the notes C D E. To finish some members on 2G were extremely brave and performed to their friends.

Physical Exercise

Comic Con
During half term a member of our class drove down to London to visit the UK Comic Con. They have also visited the National History Museum, restaurants and both the Lego and M&M shop. It looks like they have had an amazing time.

Tableaux
This afternoon in Drama, we have been exploring the “tableaux” technique. We have been using the expressions happy, sad and angry to create our own miming pieces.

Today we have been learning about air resistance by making our own rockets. We have designed a pattern on our own rocket and used an empty milk carton as the launcher.

During computing and English we have been finding facts and information about different dinosaurs to create our own fact files. We have used the laptops to research and find unusual facts and images. Keep up the great work 2C.
