First, we watched a video of a firework display and used it as inspiration for our artwork. We talked about the different colours, shapes and patterns we could see in the night sky.
We then used forks as our painting tools to create firework bursts on a black background. We experimented with different coloured paints and used a range of techniques to make our fireworks look bright and exciting. The black paper helped our colours stand out, just like real fireworks in the dark sky.
We had lots of fun being creative and exploring different ways to make our fireworks unique. Our finished artwork was full of vibrant colours and looked just like a sparkling Bonfire Night display.
