This week, 2B had their very first opportunity to explore our forest area, and what an exciting adventure it was! To make the most of our time outdoors, we decided to go on a bear hunt.
First, we chose a special volunteer to be our bear. The rest of us counted up to 20 while our bear found a hiding place in the forest. Once they were hidden, we set off on our adventure, singing “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt” as we searched high and low for our friend!
There were lots of smiles, laughter and excitement as we explored the forest together. When we finally found the bear, we celebrated before choosing someone new for the next round.
This was a fantastic way to practise turn-taking, listening skills and playing social games with our friends. We all enjoyed spending time outdoors and are already looking forward to our next forest adventure!
