We have been very excited to begin our new Science topic all about the human body!
Our first lesson was a fun and hands-on sensory learning activity using homemade play dough. Pupils were challenged to mould and create their own bodies, thinking carefully about the different parts of the body and where they belong.
Everyone engaged brilliantly with the activity, and we were so impressed with the fantastic creations! Pupils made wonderful play dough people, complete with facial features, demonstrating the knowledge they already have about their bodies.
To finish the lesson, we enjoyed our ever-popular Play Dough Disco! Pupils followed instructions to roll, squeeze and splat their play dough, developing their fine motor skills while having lots of fun.
It was a fantastic first lesson, and we can't wait to discover more about the amazing human body as our Science topic continues! 🌟
