Here's a polished blog post you could use:
This week, our pupils have been busy exploring and creating patterns in a variety of fun and engaging ways. They used the interactive whiteboard to identify and complete patterns, helping to develop their observation and problem-solving skills in an exciting, hands-on way.
The children also enjoyed making colourful patterns using different coloured cubes, carefully selecting and arranging the colours to create repeating sequences. Another favourite activity was using coloured chain links to design and make their own bracelets. This not only encouraged creativity but also helped to strengthen their fine motor skills as they linked the pieces together.
It has been wonderful to see the progress the pupils have made. They are becoming increasingly confident at recognising different types of patterns and are now able to predict and identify what comes next, even in more challenging sequences. We are so proud of their growing confidence, concentration, and enthusiasm as they continue to develop these important early maths skills through play and exploration.
If you'd like, I can also make it more EYFS-style, parent-friendly, or shorter for a school newsletter or social media post.
