This week,  pupils in 2P enjoyed exploring patterns using ink stamps and cubes. They had the opportunity to create, copy, and continue a range of simple patterns, with some pupils working on more challenging repeating sequences at their own level.

The colourful ink stamps and cubes provided a fun, hands-on way for pupils to develop their understanding of patterns, while also supporting their fine motor skills, communication, and early mathematical development.

To support and reinforce their learning, some pupils also took part in pattern games on the interactive whiteboard. These activities provided an engaging way for pupils to practise recognising and continuing patterns while building confidence and independence.

It was lovely to see pupils showing curiosity, creativity, and pride in their work as they explored patterns through practical activities and interactive learning experiences.
