3W continued developing their monster pots, building on the work they had already completed. Having previously shaped and cut their clay and formed it into cylinders, today they focused on constructing the base of their pots. With support from staff, pupils carefully attached a circular piece to the bottom, developing their joining and smoothing techniques to ensure stability. They then moved on to the creative stage, adding a range of facial features such as ears, eyes and other imaginative monster details. This session encouraged creativity and individuality while also supporting fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and perseverance, as pupils worked carefully to bring their unique monster designs to life.
