During the maths lesson, pupils were learning about sharing into equal parts. To engage and motivate the children, biscuits were used as a practical resource. Five biscuits were halved to make ten, enough for each pupil to enjoy one! The lesson then moved on to using cubes, where pupils practised sharing objects into equal groups. They counted carefully and adjusted their groups where necessary to ensure each set contained the same number of cubes. This hands-on approach helped pupils develop a secure understanding of equal sharing and early division concepts.
