For our English lesson we split into groups and looked at phonemes, digraphs and trigraphs. We had a lot of fun breaking words down into the sounds that the letters made. One group focused on words with the digraph “ou” in them and the other group used the trigraph sound of “are”.  We enjoyed writing our letter groups and words on different surfaces and everyone was able to contribute and practice their fine motor skills through penmanship.
