The 3W worked in small groups to complete a hands‑on STEM challenge that required them to build a functional chair using only one sheet of A4 paper and glue. Pupils collaborated to plan, fold, roll and reinforce their designs, thinking carefully about structure and stability. Once finished, each group tested their creation by placing a small doll on the chair to see if it could balance independently for 15 seconds.

The task encouraged problem‑solving, teamwork, and creativity, with students showing determination and adaptability as they refined their ideas to meet the challenge.
