This afternoon during our eco lesson we learned about how schools across the UK are helping the RSPB with the Big School Bird Watch. We looked at different ways to identify different species of birds such as beak colour, feather colours, patterns, tail feathers and listening out for the different songs the birds will sing. We took ourselves outside to spot and listen out for some birds in the forest school area we spotted a crow sitting in a tree and some seagulls flying overhead. We are crossing our fingers for some more kinds of birds to visit the school grounds in the coming weeks.
