This week at the PCA Allotment, our group rolled up their sleeves and got to work transforming the garden space. With teamwork and determination, everyone pitched in to clear overgrown areas, dig and prepare new beds, and construct compost bins using recycled pallets.

It was inspiring to see so many practical skills in action—digging, weeding, lifting, and carrying materials. The group communicated and collaborated, problem-solving as they went and making sure everyone was involved. There was a real sense of responsibility and pride in caring for the allotment.

Not only did we make great progress on the garden, but we also learned about plant care, sustainability, and the importance of working together. The PCA Allotment is quickly becoming a place where skills grow alongside the plants, and where everyone’s effort makes a difference.
